Kristina Harrison-Naness
Kristina Harrison-Naness fell in love with horses as a young child
and began riding at the age of six, when she got her first pony.
In 1992 she discovered her life’s passion in dressage, and rode
her former hunter Gilligan to the advanced young rider level. She
currently operates Angele Farms, a successful dressage training
stable based at The Paddock Riding Club in Los Angeles,
California. Kristina enjoys teaching as she loves to ride, and her
clients thrive in a supportive, positive environment where the
horses come first and classical principles are adhered to.
Kristina won the 2003 Bayer/USET Intermediaire 1 Championships
held at the USET headquarters in Gladstone, New Jersey. She was
also on the 2003 Gold Medal Pan American team. Rociero XV, a
stunning white Andalusian stallion owned by Margaret Carrera of
Auburn, California, is Kristina’s current FEI partner. With
Kristina, Rociero XV won the coveted title of United States
Dressage Federation Intermediaire 2 Horse of the Year. In 2007,
Rociero’s first year at the Grand Prix, he and Kristina racked up
impressive scores and placed third at the prestigious USEF
National Grand Prix Championships, held in June 2007 at Gladstone.
They currently hold the 8th place spot at the USEF National Grand
Prix Championship/Olympic Games Selection Trials.
Kristina is on the USET developing rider list and trains with
Olympic Silver Medalist Debbie McDonald. She spent a month in 2006
Training with McDonald at her home based at River Grove Farm in
Hailey, Idaho.
Todd Flettrich
Todd Flettrich, based in Wellington, FL, and Coatesville, PA,
has earned his USDF Silver and Gold Medals and is a graduate of
the USDF ‘L’ Judge Program. Todd competed at the North American
Young Riders Championships (NAYRC) four times and won the
Individual Gold Medal and Team Silver in 1991. Todd also served
as Region 1 Coach and Chef d’Equipe at NAYRC from 1988 through
1994. His student, Catherine Malone, won the Individual Gold in
2005. Todd is often approached by his peers for his coaching
services.
Flettrich and Amadeus finished the qualifying season for the
National Championship and Selection Trials in 15th place.
